Pekin Bantam Hen
Pekin Bantam Hens for Sale from this years hatch. Now point of lay, in various colours.
The Pekin is a very gentle bird. They are good layers of small eggs and make excellent pets for children as they are tame. They settle very well and require little space but like grass to forage. They tend not to scratch around in flower beds so are good birds to keep in an urban garden. They are normally a robust and long-lived bird that loves company.

Barbu D'anvers are a true Bantam from Belgium which has no full size counterpart. The Barbu D'anver is an ornamental breed, typically used in showing but due to their small size they are also great for children to handle. Hens, usually approx 600g are very friendly. They lay small cream eggs, around 3 per week.
The rare pure breed of Faverolles Bantams are available.
They are enthusiastic, curious hens who will often come to you hoping for treats. This chicken breed is just about perfect for any garden. Because of their gentleness Faverolles have become a popular breed of chicken to keep as a pet, especially for children.
Salmon Faverolles originated in a small village in France called Faverolles. French farmers were looking for a hen that fleshed out well for market and also laid a good amount of eggs.
